medicine obstacle

it's been a while
my fingers have ached for the keys
are you still following me?

words haven't been forming
been doing a lot of mouring
reorganizing

even so
I've longed for the touch
that caressed my thoughts

you used to cradle me like a child
as i hung on to every expression
hoping for some sort of answer
to all the events that flowed in
and out of each other

i have lost faith in words.
they have left me
empty and exposed.

yet
i still sit here
trying to convey how i feel
getting frustrated
anxious of what i might type

like i said
it's been a while
i guess that's what comes with
bipolar disorder
