Between the Tree and Ground

Part One: Guilty Pleasure

I felt my guilt
Brand me
As I caressed
His soul
Gently

It was the kind
Of pain
That lingered
On
Forever

That night,
Poisonous venom
Was visible
Through the veins
Of mistakes

But remorse
Was opaque
Along with
The thoughts of
Tainted virginity
And stained
Souls

Futuristicly,
Cats on pianos
And the fact that
Cat can't talk
But pianos can
Intrigues the
Past mistakes
That might never
Be regretted
